Carolers sing through the streets,
ice skating and snow,
boots on children's feet.
Candle light dinners and mistletoe,
a joy I used to know.
All the toys and chimes,
must they end this time
when the pine needles are frail, I dream
of a never ending, everlasting, marvelous christmas tale
Candy canes and snow globes bright,
families to enjoy, presents to delight.
Reminiscing past holidays,
rides on Santa's sleigh.
If the ornament nights
could stay bright in our minds
this wish might not fail, I dream
of a never ending christmas tale

Snow flakes fall, I'm hurrying home
hot coco waits under mistletoe,
I'm on my way to you.
My socks are wet and my fingers cold,
my ears are red as I blow my nose
We'll be together soon.
You and I tonight.
We'll hang stockings, holly, and ornaments,
light up the tree and wrap the gifts
as long as I'm with you.
The moon is rising above our heads,
Santa is coming, put the kids to rest
We'll go to bed here too.
Sit beside the fire,
You'll keep me warm.
If we could share the season,
what a present oh so grand
If you could see the reason
to let me hold your hand

Ornament Nights

New shoes and candy shops
yeah, they send you.
They even thrill you,
but they can't keep you around.
Egg nog and gingerbread,
they are warming.
Your heart is glowing,
but they can't bring you to town.
It's christmas,
why don't you join us
on the frost covered ground.
The season brings me
Blue lights and white snow,
they're inviting,
hoping you're trying,
but I won't hold my breath to see you now.
